Hey, at least they have each other!
In a super adorable (and exclusive!) new promotional picture for their show Bones, Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz prove their characters Brennan and Booth are totally made for each other as they are both "total head cases," as Fox so eloquently describes the recently-hitched couple. All together now: Awww!
But the Fox hit's winter return, airing Friday, Jan. 10, will be no laughing matter as the series' big bad Pelant (Andrew Leeds) will return in a surprising way...
In the episode, titled "The Ghost in the Killer," Brennan starts having dreams about Pelant, who died earlier this season, as well as a potentially more heinous killer, dubbed "the Ghost Killer," who may be involved in the current case the Jeffersonian team is investigating.
Lana Brewster's remains are delivered to Booth and Brennan's home by someone who's sure her death 18 years ago wasn't an accident, leading the team to discover she was murdered. One of the prime suspects? An old friend of Hodgins who happens to be Lana's ex-boyfriend. Ruh-roh!
But will the Ghost Killer, whom Pelant warned our couple about prior to his death, come to have too much of an effect on Brennan? "Brennan is the type of person who is not going to forget the words of warning that were given to her by Pelant," executive producer Stephen Nathan recently said. "We will see that surface in a way that concerns Booth and the other people at the lab and is something they're all going to have to contend with, seeing how immersed and overwhelmed Brennan is by the idea of this new serial killer."
Bones returns Friday, Jan. 10 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
