Never has the phrase "three's a crowd" been more appropriate!

Revolution returns from its winter hiatus tomorrow night (Wednesday, Jan. 8) on NBC and finds Monroe (David Lyons) teaming up with Miles (Billy Burke) and Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell). Yes, you read that right: the trio will be heading off on an adventure together and we've got your exclusive first look at Monroe, Miles and Rachel in action. (How fitting that the episode is titled "Three Amigos," no?!) So why are they teaming up? To find Monroe's long-lost son!

"Maybe I can do something for him, help him," Monroe says, which leads to this quip from Miles: "You think this is going to be Field of Dreams?" But Monroe isn't in the mood to joke with his former BFF and we've got a sneak peek at their heated conversation...

"You're the one who took him away from me," Monroe accuses Miles after he points out that his son, who is probably 25, might not want to see him. "I just want to meet him, I think I deserve that much," Monroe says.

But what's Rachel's take on all of this? Watch our exclusive clip above to find out exactly how she feels about having to help Monroe after everything he's done to her and her family.

Per NBC's description of the episode, Miles, Monroe and Rachel will be met with much more than they bargained for when they head south of the border as Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) and Julia (guest star Kim Raver) dance a delicate dance. Plus, Charlie (Tracy Spiridakos) and Gene (Stephen Collins) try to find Aaron (Zak Orth).

Revolution returns Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 8 p.m. on NBC.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBC Universal family.)
