Jessica Simpson may not be married to fiancé Eric Johnson just yet, but the mother of two is still dishing out advice for women who are getting ready to walk down the aisle.

"The wedding day is a very important day, but I think it's important for us, as brides, for us to know that it is the day we are most loved," the 33-year-old beauty revealed during a recent Google+ Live Chat for her Weight Watchers campaign. "No matter what your dress looks like, no matter the chaos of all of it, everybody is there to celebrate you, and to celebrate the love between you and your fiancé."

The fashion designer got engaged to Johnson in 2010, but the pair have put their wedding plans on hold due to Simpson giving birth to the couple's two children, daughter Maxwell Drew, 1, and 6-month-old son Ace Knute.

And while the blond beauty has made no secret of the fact that she's been busy shedding the pregnancy pounds, she encourages brides-to-be to remember there's no need to undergo a major wedding makeover.

"It's easy to get wrapped up in things when you are planning your wedding," she said. "It's easy to get stressed out about it, and put pressure on yourself. I mean your man proposed to you, so you don't have to do anything for him, he already likes you the way you are. So, really it's just about finding the love within yourself, and accepting the love that everybody is basically there giving you."

Solid advice, Jess.

The singer also appeared on GMA this morning where she revealed that she and Johnson do indeed plan to (finally!) tie the knot sometime in 2014.

"We don't have an actual [wedding] date, but we do know that we want it to be this year. We need to get married!" she said before joking. "I already feel like we're an old married couple already. Like, if he wanted to run, he could've run when I was hormonal and pregnant."

Although the twosome's nuptials may have been delayed thanks to Simpson's pregnancies, the star says her fiancé has been incredible supportive, even as she struggled to lose weight in the public eye.

"I'm really enjoying my life right now, it's very chaotic with two kids, but I know feel very comfortable in my skin," she confessed. "I mean my son is six months old now. I have a six month and a 20 month, so I definitely did it back to back, and there was lots of weight that needed to be lost. But, with the support of WW, my amazing fiancé, and all my friends, I really just hung in there and stayed super determined."

And she insists it was not any easier to shed the pregnancy pounds, simply because she's a public figure.

"I personally don't feel it's easier it's for me than you, or anyone else out there. Ultimately, it's us that have to make the decision. It's us who are going on the treadmill or going on a walk," she explained. "We still have to do it on our own. I think it's important for people to know...I'm actually trying really hard to do this, to do this for myself. Because, if I don't do it for myself, then I don't feel like I'll feel that satisfaction and that pride we deserve once we start hitting our goals. I don't want to feel like anyone else has done that for me."

Congrats, Jess! You're going to look fab in that wedding dress.
