Gone are the days of the prim and proper Lady Mary!
Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery was the subject of an another amazing Funny or Die parody.
The actress found herself playing the title role in a new crime-fighting drama dubbed Tough Justice.
Dockery stars as Lady Mary playing Connie Tough, a cop with a major chip on her shoulder—and yes, it's as hilarious as it sounds.
Tough's partner is none other than Michael Chiklis (how fitting), while the show's teaser clip is narrated by Jon Hamm.
Dockery's portrayal of Tough is pitch perfect until little hints of Lady Mary pop onto the screen.
In one scene, the British native found herself confused after Chiklis wanted to take a subway to the crime scene.
"We're going to need more evidence," he explains. "We should head over to the L-train to see what we can find."
Dockery replies, in her British accent no less, "The elevated rail system…I'm not sure that's been invented yet."
She then opens up her black parasol and says, "Have Carson bring the car around."
It seems like Dockery suffers from a case of confused identity throughout the almost three-minute spoof.
The parody was released to coincide with the American fourth season premiere of the hit television series.
The beloved period drama opened with a two-hour episode that featured oodles of drama among the characters—both upstairs and downstairs.
Cora (Elizabeth McGovern) hired a new lady's maid and fired the nanny, Rose (Lily James) got into some mischief at a local dance and the Dowager Countess (Maggie Smith) maintained her reputation for saying the show's sassiest lines.
