Although she wasn't included in Forbes' current 30 Under 30 list, Jaclyn Shanfeld certainly could be taking a slot in 2015. At 29, she is the CEO of Shop Hers, a new high-end consignment shop online. She started the website because she had over 15 events in one summer (with the same group of people!) and didn't want to go broke on buying all new outfits. Something even celebrities can relate to!

So we caught up with the busy gal at her office in Santa Monica, Calif. where she is surrounded by designer fashion all day long. Besides sharing that it takes great restraint not to buy the Celine bags that come in on a daily basis, she also dished on what it's like to run a fashion startup. Read on to see what she shared.

How did you get started in your career?
I was a girl that had just quit my job in fashion, looking for next gig—meanwhile I couldn't find a means in which to re-boot and refresh my own wardrobe. I had been burned countless times by brick and mortar consignment stores as well as online consignment models. I'm a smart girl but still couldn't find the time or patience to operate eBay as both a buyer and a seller. I wanted a web site that looked a felt like Net-A-Porter but was a truly social peer-to-peer marketplace, one that I could operate easily and trust. A year later, I'm the CEO of Shop Hers. A company that started out of my own need. My two co-founders are truly the brilliance behind why the product works so well. Jenna Stahl was the creative director of Norstrom.com and Thanh Khuu was the CEO of ShoeDazzle. We all wear many hats.

What's a typical day like for you?
It starts at 5 a.m. when I pop out of bed eager to see what has sold overnight and the new products that have been posted by our incredible community of sellers. I'm obsessed! Then I hop on my bike and ride to the office where I'm typically greeted by a massive amount of Fedex boxes. I compare this to Christmas morning—and it just never get's old! The day is always a non-stop roller coaster of emails, drop-bys, Chanel, Hermes, Fedex, meetings, and coffee! Every once in a while I'll stop to shop the site. More often then not, merchandise sells before I can get to it!

Describe your office style?
Our office is mid century modern with white walls and furniture, pops of color at every turn. An inspiration board of editorial and past designer campaigns line the walls that aren't taken up by white boards and shelves of handbags and shoes—it's kind of a dream come true!

What is the best part of your job?

Everything. I live and breathe Shop Hers and couldn't be more proud of what we've built in such a short amount of time (6 months). The daily close proximity to the kind of clothes, shoes, and bags that most can only dream about doesn't hurt either.

What are your favorite gadgets?

My iPhone (Stay tuned for the Shop Hers app coming soon!)

What are your beauty must-haves?

I can't live without my Laura Mercier primer, Murad shimmer moisturizer and Chanel gloss!
