The 25-year-old Spy Kids star said "I do" to her 24-year-old Big Time Rush singer beau Carlos Pena on Saturday, Jan. 4, in an intimate ceremony in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and now we finally have photos of the actress's gorgeous wedding dress, courtesy of her pals' Instagram pics.
Big Time Rush's Challen Cates shared a number of photos from the couple's nuptials, including a sweet shot of herself posing with the newlyweds in addition to pal Aaron McPherson, captioning the cute photo "Most fun wedding ever! In the pic, the beautiful bride flaunts her simple silk white wedding dress—a far cry from fellow newlywed Kaley Cuoco's elaborate pink Vera Wang gown—opting for a delicate flower crown in lieu of a traditional veil, which perfectly complements the beachy theme of the lovebird's destination wedding.
McPherson also shared a stunning shot of the newlyweds posing on the beach together with the cool blue ocean in the background, captioning the shot, "The cute couple #BTR #wedding #love #mexico"
While Vega may not have chosen the most traditional wedding gown, the simple style is perfect for the pair's intimate beach affair, and there's no doubt the blond beauty, who wore her hair in soft waves, looks gorgeous as ever.
Shortly after saying "I do," the blushing bride adorably tweeted, "Mrs. PENAVEGA," a combination of the couple's last names.
And they also issued a statement to E! News, saying they were "so thrilled and blessed that we were able to have all of our close friends and family join us on our special day."
The newlyweds began dating in late 2012, and got engaged when Pena popped the question during a romantic road trip in September 2013.
This is the second marriage for Vega who was previously married to 37-year-old movie producer Sean Covel from 2010 to 2012.
