After four challenging rounds and thousands upon thousands of votes, the two stars left standing were The Vampire Diaries' hunky star Ian Somerhalder (who also came in second place last year to Twilight's Robert Pattinson) and Thor villain/Internet god Tom Hiddleston.
In the end it was close, but there can only be one winner. And your 2013 Celeb of the Year is…
Tom received 52.9 percent of the votes (38,689), while Ian took 47.1 percent of the votes (34,385).

Robin Roberts Comes Out as Gay: While giving praise to those she loves before the New Year, Robin Roberts also revealed that she is a gay woman. The Good Morning America anchor posted a heartfelt Facebook message on Sunday, Dec. 29 and reflected back on a "critical milestone" in her treatment for myelodysplastic syndrome, saying she was grateful for her "longtime girlfriend" Amber Laign, among others.
An ABC spokesperson confirmed to E! News that Roberts has been in a 10 year same-sex relationship with Laign, who is a licensed massage therapist who specializes in working with people recovering from injuries.
