Bikini Shot of the Day: Kelly Rowland Shows Off Hot Bod in Miami

Someone is escaping the cold winter temperatures!

Kelly Rowland showed off her enviable figure in a bright purple bikini while soaking up the sunshine with some friends in Miami on Thursday, Jan. 2.

The 32-year-old singer, who rang in the New Year in the Sunshine State, flaunted her killer abs as well as her toned arms and legs while sunbathing on the beach. Rowland appropriately lifted up her bright green sheer tunic with zebra detail to get the maximum amount of skin exposure.

The X Factor judge kept her long curly locks down and sported minimal makeup for her fun day in the sun.

Rowland was also spotted staying active in the sand, grinning widely as she kicked around a soccer ball and building sandcastles with her pals' children.

2014 could shape up to be a big year for the R&B star: she officially announced her engagement last month to Tim Witherspoon after wearing a large diamond ring on that finger.

"He put a ring on it," Rowland admitted in an interview on The Queen Latifah Show, happily holding up her hand when Latifah insisted (Thanks, Queen!) on hearing the details.

"It's been a while," Rowland added. "We've kept! it very, very low—for years, to be completely honest."
