Vantagenews/AKM-GSI98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey made temperatures rise when he hit the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Thursday, Jan. 2. Joined by wife Vanessa Lachey and son Camden, the famously fit musician showed off his perfect pecs and awesome abs as he soaked up the sun. Vanessa, meanwhile, modeled a one-piece swimsuit and a wide-brimmed hat as she made sand castles with Camden.
Nick reflected on the last year two days earlier via Instagram. "It's been quite a year. After a group reunion, 2 tv shows, 2 albums & an arena tour—I'm pumped for 2014!" the Sing-Off host captioned.
Dads star Vanessa shared her well wishes for the New Year via Twitter on Tuesday, Dec. 31. "Happy New Year!!! Love The Lachey's! We hope 2014 is everything you dreamed of and MORE!" she wrote.
In December, Lachey told E! News he feels just as young as he did when he was a single pop star. "I'm so immature and still feel so young," he said. "Forty doesn't feel any different than 30 did."
Still, he confessed that 98 Degrees' summer reunion tour was less raucous than it was in the early aughts. "I don't know if it's the bus [but] back when you were twenty-something riding the bus, you could sleep anywhere, do anything, wake up and feel fine," Nick said. "This summer, the grind of 40 something shows definitely took its toll on my body."
