Sherlock finally, finally, (finally!) returned last night with the season-three premiere "The Empty Hearse," and the joy we felt in our heart could only be described as concupiscent.

Since most of you Sherlock fans are probably in your own little Sherlock world today doing Sherlock things and scrolling Sherlock sites to savor the fact that we have new episodes, we thought we would take a moment to look back on all the times John Watson (Martin Freeman) and Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) made us feel things in our heart (which is the groin of the chest).

Shippin' is so easy when it comes to these two, right? We have gone to the ends of the Internet (aka Tumblr) and found the best fan dedications to the relationship between the great detective and his best friend. We also went back to find some precious moments between the actors offscreen. Basically, this is an explosion of Sherlock shipping celebration.

You should probably put on some songs to set the mood. With the help of another fellow Sherlock shipper, who claims she "ships it like FedEx," we've come up with a playlist to have on in the background while you scroll:

"Save the Best for Last," Vanessa Williams
"Can YouFeel the Love Tonight," Elton John
"I Wanna Sex You Up," Color Me Badd
"Take My Breathe Away," Berlin
"Tonight I Celebrate My Love," Peabo Bryson and Roberta Flack
"How Deep Is Your Love," Bee Gees
"Open Arms," Journey
"Wind Beneath My Wings," Bette Midler
"Bad Case of Loving You," Robert Palmer
"I Want to Know What Love Is," Foreigner

Ready? Oh, and don't worry, no season-three spoilers below. Here we go:

Because we all imagined this exchange actually happening on the show at some point.

The passion between Watson and Sherlock is perfect for a romance novel. In our brain, the title of this book is An Unbridled Affair.

This is the first time we heard "Total Eclipse of the Heart" without thinking about Old School. All we could think about was John and Sherlock. Turn around, bright eyes.

John haunted by the memories of his time with Sherlock. So deep and angsty.

The fan fictions write themselves when it comes to these two.

Stop it, you two!

Sherlock may be bad, but he's perfectly good at it.

Because we want to remind you how the feels slapped you in the face when you watched John struggle to get to his friend.

Yep. This is a thing.

No big deal, just Martin looking up at Benedict with stars in his eyes. Taylor Swift could write a song just based on that look.

The only wedding we need to be invited to. Need.

Still a better love story than Twilight.
