Who better than Scott Eastwood to cover Town & Country's annual Top 50 Bachelors issue? After all, the up-and-coming actor and Hollywood scion became an overnight sensation when he modeled casual sportswear and maritime-inspired wristwatches in the magazine's October 2013 edition.

In the February 2014 issue, Scott insists he was unfazed by the commotion his shirtless photo shoot caused. "I heard some things. But, to be honest, I was in London filming a movie [the World War II drama Fury] and didn't pay much attention," the 27-year-old says. "These things come and go."

Scott—son of living legend Clint Eastwood and former flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves—is humble about foray into film. "I love acting, but I'm not a thespian," he says. "I want to be a man's man, not a glitzy pop star." Ever the gentleman, Scott then clarifies that he can appreciate what glitzy pop stars do for a living. "I love Katy Perry and Rihanna," he admits, revealing that he sings along to their music.

The whiskey maker also shares some lessons his parents instilled in him during his childhood: "My father taught me not to overthink things, that nothing will ever be perfect, so just keep moving and do your best. My mother taught me to be honest, to be selfless, and to touch people in a positive way."

Scott—who was romantically linked to singer Jana Kramer in the fall of 2013—has yet to find The One. So what kind of woman is he interested in dating? "The kind who's not afraid to be alone, who leaves her phone at home," he tells Town & Country.

Other featured bachelors include shipping heir Stavros Niarchos III; college student Patrick Schwarzenegger; actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Ansel Elgort; and newscaster Ronan Farrow.
