Katie Holmes Rocks Bikini Top and Jean Shorts, Relaxes With Suri Cruise by the Pool on New Year's Day

Katie Holmes modeled yet another two-piece during her Floridian getaway on Wednesday, Jan. 1. The Mad Money star, 35, rang in the New Year with her daughter Suri Cruise, 7, by relaxing poolside in Miami.

Rocking a pair of Levi's shorts over her Missoni swimsuit, the Soul Cycle devotee caught some rays as her mini-me played with a stuffed animal. The night earlier, Holmes tweeted a picture of herself holding hands with her daughter and wrote, "Happy New Year! May your 2014 be filled with love."

The mother-daughter duo, who live in New York City, arrived in Miami earlier this week.

It's no doubt a good time for Holmes to relax, as she has three movies scheduled for release in 2014: Days and Nights (costarring Allison Janney and Ben Whishaw), Mania Days (costarring Luke Kirby) and The Giver (costarring Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges, Taylor Swift and Alexander Skarsgård).

Holmes' ex-husband Tom Cruise, meanwhile, shared his wishes for the New Year via his team on Twitter: "However you may say it, here's wishing you an AWESOMELY rewarding 2014 filled with peace, love, friendship, big dreams and accomplishments!"
