According to a new report, Kate Middleton and Victoria Beckham have been becoming gal pals—and they've got their famous husbands to thank for their new bestie status.
David Beckham and Prince William have grown closer since the now retired soccer player and his family moved back to London from Los Angeles. "The four of them will cook together when William and Kate visit the new house," a source alleges. "David loves making sushi and William's keen to learn."
The fact that the guys are having a bromance over sushi is slightly shocking, but what the wives are bonding over is not. The gals reportedly have been chatting about—what else?—fashion. "Kate and Victoria have a lot in common as they both adore art and interior design," said the source. "William and David enjoy discussing sport and bonding over being dads, and Kate and Victoria talk about fashion, design, and parenting."
Now here's what is a bit surprising: It's the Duchess of Cambridge—not the designer!—that has been dishing out advice. "Kate has been advising the Beckhams on their bathroom tiles, and her and William's main bathroom is marvelous," according to the insider. "She is sourcing antique Grecian statues for them both, too, as housewarming presents."
Dare we hope for a shopping trip with the new BFFs in the near future?! Or, even better, an adorable play date with Prince George and Harper?!
