Talk about a teenage dream come true! Katy Perry was left speechless on Monday, Dec. 30, when Fleetwood Mac frontwoman Stevie Nicks did something special for the pop singer and boyfriend John Mayer. During the band's concert in Las Vegas, the living legend dedicated "Landslide" to the power couple.

The two were singled out amid thousands at the MGM Grand Garden Arena to receive the special honor. "John here. Katy can't write because she's getting over Stevie Nicks dedicating Landslide to us at the Fleetwood Mac concert. Unforgettable," tweeted Mayer, who used his girlfriend's account.

"While I'm at it I have a couple things I'd like to get off my-oh, she's motioning for the phone back. Gotta go!!" the 36-year-old rocker tweeted.

The two women have been fans of each other for years. In 2011, Perry asked her idol to narrate the teaser trailer for "The One That Got Away" music video. "About a minute in, I just began to cry," said Nicks, who presciently assumed she would become friends with Perry. "It reminded me of my own life and losses, and of the last fight that Lindsey Buckingham and I had. By the time it ended, I said, 'Well, that's just the saddest thing I've ever seen!' That was exactly the reaction she wanted. So she handed me the type-written pages and I read my lines. It was an amazing experience."

In an October 2013 SiriusXM radio interview, Perry, 29, revealed that she'd recently had tea in London with Nicks. "She is a beautiful woman," she gushed. "She just has so many little nuggets of wisdom and sees straight through my soul...I'm so honored that she would make time for me."

Her Nicks shout-out aside, Perry's been living it up in Sin City all week. On Dec. 27, she attended the opening night of Britney Spears' Piece of Me concert and partied with singers Selena Gomez and Sia after the show. "Soy excited to see @britneyspears baby bottle pop it off tonight at her grand opening @phvegas! We are coming in full lewks to support!" she tweeted prior to the concert.

Three days later, Perry tweeted a picture from another popular show: "The Le Reve show in Vegas was so good, it got me wet!"
