The 44-year-old actress stepped out with her father, Emil, and mother, Kjellfrid, on Thursday to grab a bite to eat at Kreation Café in Santa Monica.
Dressed in blue jeans, sneakers and a gray top with no makeup on, the blond beauty looked lovely and casual while leaving the eatery with noticeably longer locks.
Before going their separate ways, Zellweger dished out hugs to her parents outside the restaurant. Emil donned jeans and a collared shirt while Kjellfrid sported jeans, a festive red shirt and black jacket.
Zellweger has been lying low and staying out of the spotlight for several years now. Her last film was 2010's My Own Love Song.
Last month, the typically thin Zellweger spoke out against tabloid reports claiming she suffered from an eating disorder.
"When you read reports that you are starving yourself or that you are anorexic, it's very unfair and disappointing," she told the U.K.'s Daily Express. "It's not very pleasant to read reports which say you've gone too far or this or that."
