The singer (and nightlife extraordinaire) will be counting down to 2014 at Jay Z's 40/40 Club in New York City, E! News exclusively confirms. A source tells us, "She booked a private room for her friends and family," and added that the room can hold up to 50 people.
Unlike some other stars' NYE plans, RiRi won't be hosting this event. The Barbadian beauty will leave work behind and be able to just enjoy herself like any other clubgoer. "She's chosen to party here which is very different from hosting," the source explained, "There will be no host, just our regular New Year's Eve party."
Unfortunately, her Roc Nation boss won't be present at the festivities. E! News learns that Hova will be busy hosting another New Year's Eve bash in a different state.
However, you can party at the same place as Rihanna if you wanted to. A club source tells us, "Anyone can buy tickets although we're quickly selling out."
Spending New Year's in the Big Apple will be a huge difference to the singer's Christmas plans—at least, when it comes to weather.
RiRi was spotted strutting her bikini bod in a tiny two-piece the day after Christmas, while boating in Barbados with family and friends. The 25-year-old songstress also posted several shots of herself on Christmas Day posing with various family members, as she sported a Tupac T-shirt and reindeer antlers.
Before Christmas hit, Rihanna kicked back with Mariah Carey's Christmas album while she wrapped gifts and got a little naughty with her BFF Melissa Forde not too long after she touched down.
