Who needs a Christmas tree when your present is a pair of Proenza pajamas?!

Anna Wintour's daughter Katherine "Bee" Shaffer took to Instagram on Christmas Day to inform her followers by way of a rather sad photo that her mother and the editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine threw out their Christmas tree early becase of the mess it made.

"My mom threw out our tree before Christmas Day because 'it was too messy,'" the 26-year-old beauty (Wintour's second child from her marriage to former husband David Shaffer) captioned the photo of a large pile of presents, all looking a little lonely without a Christmas tree.

Of course, Wintour's decision to ditch the family Christmas tree prior to Dec. 25 is hardly surprising for the icy fashionista, who is believed to be the inspiration for Meryl Streep's character Miranda Priestly in the 2006 hit film The Devil Wears Prada.

And based off the 64-year-old Vogue boss' reputation, it's safe to assume she'd rather be reorganizing her Manolo Blahniks than hanging Xmas ornaments.

(We doubt the devil wears tinsel, after all.)

Luckily, the missing Christmas tree didn't appear to ruin Bee's day, as she later shared another Instagram photo of her special presents, which included a Downton Abbey mug and what appears to be Proenza Schouler pajamas (how fancy!).

"Pjs and downton... AW knows me well!" she wrote.

Hey, she may not be the most festive mother, but she sure knows the meaning of a fab present.
