Are you impatiently waiting to be reunited with your favorite crime-solving duo?

Well, then get excited because we've got a special season three snack for all you Sherlock fans! In anticipation of the new season premiering in the United States on Jan. 19, BBC just released a brand new mini-episode.

We've got your first look at, "Many Happy Returns," the seven-minute prequel to drama's highly anticipated third season. And if you've been wondering if Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) survived the "suicidal" leap from the hospital rooftop in the season-two finale, this video provides pivotal hints at the detective's fate…

The video above introduces everything you need for the upcoming season third season of the BBC hit. Written by producers Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, the mini-episode features Inspector Lestrade (Rupert Graves) debunking various theories about how our favorite deductionist could have survived that fall. (Keep those fingers crossed!)

Meanwhile, Watson (Martin Freeman) is watching a video that Sherlock filmed prior to his "death," that is complete with plenty of smiling, winking, and plenty of his world-famous charm. And it's just about as perfect as you can imagine.

Season three of Sherlock premieres Sunday, Jan. 19, on BBC.
