Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may have to spend a lot of time apart for work, but they sure make the most of their reunions.

The actors and the whole Jolie-Pitt brood spent Brad's post-birthday weekend boating and enjoying the sunshine along the Coomera River in Queensland, Australia.

Angie was spotted jetting off with the kids on Friday from Sydney, where she's shooting her latest directorial effort, Unbroken.

Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh, Pax, Knox and Vivienne must really have their sea legs by now—they went boating (or, we should say, luxury-yachting) earlier this month off of Sydney Harbor the last time dad was in town as well.

Though their very presence makes the excursion high-profile, the family of eight chose a more low-key ride this time around.

Pitt, who just celebrated his not-to-be-believed 50th birthday on Wednesday, has flown back and forth to Australia a few times for reunions while Jolie has been working Down Under.

He's been filming the World War II-set Fury in London (both he and Jolie are working on WWII projects, aw) and was there on his actual b-day. He and Jolie were last in the States together last month when she received the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the 2013 Governors Awards in Los Angeles.

During her breaks from filming, Jolie has been making sure the kids stay entertained, taking them to meet the cast of The Lion King musical and enjoying a sleepover at the Sydney Zoo.

And the Jolie-Pitts are not the only celebs in town (or in the greater Down Under area): Hugh Jackman and fam are home for the holidays, as is Simon Baker and his wife and three kids. The Mentalist star was spotted at a Sydney beach with one of his sons and Liev Schreiber—also in town with Aussie-bred partner Naomi Watts—and his boys last week.
