Selena Gomez is holding up just fine after cancelling her Australian tour.

"I'm the happiest I've been in a while.. So blessed and thankful for the future, for release and to finally be happy for those I loved," the "Come & Get It" crooner posted on Instagram Saturday, along with a snap of herself holding a baby--presumably her stepsister Gracie.

The former Wizards of Waverly Place star then went on to post a peaceful shot of herself bundled up in a sweater and scarf, looking out of a window.

Gomez announced the cancellation of her upcoming tour in Australia earlier this week, saying she neeeded to take some time for herself.

And it appears to be working out.

"Selena is OK. She just realized it was time to take a break for herself," a source told E! News. "She's been working non-stop for six years. She hit a wall. She wants to spend time with her family, especially for the holidays."

The source went on to say stepping away from the tour was not an easy choice for Gomez, who "doesn't like to say no."

"She just reached a point where she needs a minute. She is not having a breakdown," the source said. "She wants to be the healthiest that she can be and this means taking a little break. But she is fine. She is OK."

Gomez went on to echo those sentiments in her own statement, saying, "My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them. But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be. To my fans, I sincerely apologize and I hope you guys know how much each and every one of you mean to me."
