Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade Engaged--Get the Details on Her Huge Ring!

Dwyane Wade popped the question to Gabrielle Union with some serious bling.

After the couple shared the news of their engagement on Instagram Saturday (and the Being Mary Jane star showed off her diamond sparkler), we got the lowdown on the huge rock.

Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, told E! News the stunning ring is 8.5 carats, the stone is cushion cut and it's valued at nearly $1 million(!).

"Dwayne Wade was 100% involved in the process," Arasheben said. "I made three personal visits to Miami to present different options until they found the perfect one. Wade picked out the stone and they made the ring custom."

And it turns out the Miami Heat guard had been planning the engagement for months.

"[Dwayne] was very particular about finding the right stone for Gabrielle," Arasheban added. "He was hands on in the process he and I worked together to make sure they got the perfect ring for Gabrielle."

Upon revealing thier exciting news, Union wrote, "Sooooo this happened... #Yessss @dwyanewade," posting a photo which not only showed off her ring, but also Wade holding onto her hand.

"She said YES!!! @gabunion," Wade posted on Instagram, along with the same shot.

This will be the second marriage for both Union and Wade, who started dating in 2009.
