Justin Bieber is getting his do-gooder on just in time for Christmas.

The 19-year-old singer surprised 150 kids during a Boys and Girls Club screening of his new film Believe in L.A. earlier this week.

During the surprise appearance, the "Boyfriend" crooner popped up on stage before handing out Christmas presents and lots of hugs to his excited fans. Bieber, who was dressed in a festive red plaid shirt, sunglasses and a black baseball hat, also performed two of his songs for the kids.

"I remember growing up with not a lot," the Biebs reportedly told the crowd during the appearance. "Grew up with, you know, no toys and I wanna make sure each and every one of you have a great Christmas."

After playing Santa and dealing out Christmas gifts and hugs, Bieber stayed to watch Believe with the Boys and Girls Club kids.

He tweeted during the event, "Surprised my beliebers at a screening of #believemovie & gave toys with the crew. Watching the movie with them. This is what it's all about."

On Wednesday, Bieber attended the Los Angeles premiere of Believe but skipped doing interviews with the exception of the premiere's official livestream on MTV.

Bieber said of the flick, "It's very important to me because I think the media and a lot of people have been talking and saying things that they really don't know because they're not in my life. They don't see behind the scenes. And I'm able to speak for myself and tell them what's actually going on. I think that's why this movie is so important."

As for the pop star's 2014 resolutions? "I want to figure out myself as a man," Bieber said.
