Prince George is going on his very first royal tour!

The Palace announced today that the 4-month-old royal baby boy is expected to travel to New Zealand and Australia with parents Prince William and Kate Middleton in April of next year.

The royal family was invited Down Under by the New Zealand and Australian governments. The trio will make a stop in New Zealand before then heading to Australia.

Little George will be about 9 months old when the trip finally rolls around.

Will's last visit to New Zealand was back in March 2011, right after an earthquake hit the country. He visited Australia during the same trip and toured flood-damaged areas of Queensland and Victoria.

He traveled to the two countries in January 2010 as well.

Interestingly enough, Will made his very first trip Down Under with his parents back in 1983 at the age of 9 months, the same age George will be at the time of his trip.

This will also be Kate's first trip to New Zealand and Australia as she's never been before.
