Talk about high low!

Hot off the heels of Balmain announcing Rihanna as the new face of the luxury label, the singer ditched the decadent designer duds she modeled in the campaign in favor of a super affordable pair of pants from a grocery store.

That's right, though RiRi has a stylish stash of high-end outfits—most recently thanks to the massive designer haul she received for the holidays—the singer reached for a £7 (that's just under $12) pair of track pants from F&F, U.K. chain Tesco's clothing brand.

Of course, Rihanna being Rihanna, she made sure to dress up her laid-back joggers with a bright green fur vest that she layered over a long overcoat while out and about in New York last week.

The singer's fans jumped on the opportunity to affordably channel the Barbadian beauty's style, immediately snapping up the cozy drawstring pants.

Aware of Rihanna's influence on the sudden demand for the unassuming pants, Tesco now greets shoppers hoping to get their hands on the sold out bottoms with an "Oh no! Rihanna's joggers have jogged off" message.

Leave it to those cheeky Brits to bring a smile to our faces even when our online shopping efforts are thwarted!

For those on a budget who are still eager to copy Rihanna's style, the 25-year-old offers a line with British retailer River Island.

And though the items aren't as afforbable as $12 pants, they're definitely easier on the wallet than, say, Balmain designs.
