For foodies on the fence about trying Beyoncé and Jay Z's vegan diet, the meat industry has definitely given curious folks a reason to commit to the organic, meat-free diet.

Hot off the heels of Yauk's Specialty Meats of Windsor, Colo., pulling 90,000 pounds of meat and poultry products due to unsanitary conditions, the company has just expanded the recall to include hams, bacon and sausages.

And according to NBC News, said unsanitary conditions were due to "rodent activity."

If there's a better reason to go vegan, we'd love to hear it.

Plus, Bey and Jay's foray into veganism with a 22-day diet sounds pretty yummy, with the famous pair stopping by some famous vegan spots (like Real Food Daily and Cafe Gratitude) and noshing on normally bad-for-you treats, including scrumptious mac and cheese and delicious nachos!

As for dessert, Beyoncé managed to satisfy her sweet tooth with vegan cupcakes as well as a decadent batch of cookies, which she nibbled on to celebrate 100 shows of her Mrs. Carter Show tour.
