Lea Michele Shares Sexy Pic From "Cannonball" Music Video Shoot

Though she's not choosing to actually ride a cannonball, plenty of sensuality is on display

Lea Michele is gearing up to come in like a "Cannonball."

The Glee star shared a photo from the set of her music video to go with the brand-new tune, which debuted last week— but while there's plenty of sensuality on display, from the looks of it there will be no riding naked on an actual ball in this video. (Though that would be amazing...)

"Video shoot! #Cannonball #LOUDER," Michele tweeted today along with the pic, in which she's slumping over but still managing to convey the message that she's firmly in control.

Or back in control, at least.

"I gotta get out into the world again...And now I will start living today...Today, today I close the door...I got this new beginning and I will fly...I'll fly like a cannonball," goes the start of the chorus to the first single off of her debut solo album, Louder.

And if "Cannonball's" lyrics sound especially poignant, that is because they are.

Earlier today during an interview on Z100's Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, Michele talked further about how she's been dealing with Cory Monteith's death, noting that she is trying to seize the "opportunity right now to be inspiring or encouraging for anyone—make something positive out of it."

"Cannonball" is "more than just a song for me," admitted the star of stage and screen. "It has helped me so much in this process personally. It's given me strength; it's given me hope. I get upset thinking about it, it's really inspiring."

And while she didn't mention whether "Cannonball" was one of the song's Monteith gave his seal of approval to, Michele revealed that her late leading man had listened and given a thumbs-up to almost every song on Louder.

"What I love so much about the album, with the exception of two songs he heard every single song," Michele recalled. "He was like my biggest fan and critic and he loved every song! He would give me all of his notes and I took every one into consideration."

Louder is due out March 4, Michele's "favorite day of the year."
