Cate Blanchett, Vogue

Cate Blanchett is back and better than ever!

The elegant actress graces the cover of the January 2014 issue of Vogue (making this her fifth cover!), looking positively flawless in a modern designer look paired with a geometric bangle and bold bauble ring.

Her hair is styled effortlessly with a simple sideswept bang, while her makeup is left undone and soft, allowing for her natural beauty to shine on its own.

Her piercing blue eyes captivate the cover, and in one glance, it's clear that Cate is at the top of her game in every way of the word.

Inside the issue, she wears a magnificent gold cocktail dress, as she reclines in a posh living room, playfully posing with gold jewels scattered on the floor.

In short, she's simply exquisite!

The Blue Jasmine star, who is also the latest actress to be featured in Vogue's new Original Shorts, entitled Slow Motion, isn't slowing down one bit in 2014, and we're betting this will be a very big year for the celebrated talent, who is also starring in George Clooney's Monuments Men.

In the article, Blanchett is to meet the Vogue writer at a theater in London to catch a play, and is surprisingly far from punctual.

As we read on, we're amused to find that she's racing through town with her own charming abandon, and despite the theater's strict policy on timeliness; they, of course, make an exception to start the show the second the blond beauty is seated.

Just one example of Cate's impressive influence on the world—both on and off stage.

We can't wait to see what else is in store for this star in the new year!
