What do you get the gal who just picked up a Golden Globes nomination—on top of a gig co-hosting the annual awards show?

If you're Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler—who received a Best Actress in a TV Comedy nomination earlier today and will be hosting the telecast alongside gal pal Tina Fey—you're totally fine with receiving any ole thing the gifter may have lying around the house.

"My stance on regifting is that we have too many things in the world, nobody needs to buy anything new," the funny lady told Paper magazine. "So, I think you should regift your whole life. I think there should just be one gift and everybody just hands it to each other."

Hmmm, we might take you up on that advice, Poehler. Definitely sounds a lot easier than hitting up the mall!

But that doesn't mean Poehler, who graces the cover of the magazine's holiday issue in a plaid Louis Vuitton coat and a cute cat ear beanie, can't spot a good gift when she sees one.

In fact, one of her fave gifts to date definitely wasn't something the giver regifted.

"The creator of Parks & Recreation—my boss—gave us a painting of all of us as sexy super hero warriors," she shared when asked about the best present she'd ever received. "We had daggers and a lot of leather and chainmail."

Whoa!

We've heard of personalized gifts, but nothing quite so tailor-made to suit the individual!

Looks like whoever is shopping for Poehler this season might as well stick to regifting, since we can't think of anything online or in stores to top such an awesome-sounding painting!

What are your thoughts on re-gifting? Do you agree with Amy?
