Downton Abbey's Allen Leech Jokes That Niall Horan Is His Son—Do You See the Resemblance?

Actor talks about looking like the One Direction singer

One Direction and Downton Abbey fans, unite!

During an appearance on last night's Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen brought up the fact that actor Allen Leech bares a striking resemblance to 20-year-old 1D singer Niall Horan.

"He's my son," Leech deadpanned with a straight face. "I had him really young. I had the choice to give him to the circus or a boy band, I chose a boy band. He's done much better there because his backflips are terrible."

LOL!

Leech also dished about a recent royal encounter he had. "I was actually at an event last week with Prince William, now the Duke of Cambridge, so yeah—I met him last week, shook his hand," Leech shared. "He actually said, 'I'm a big fan of the show—only now that my wife's had a baby.'"

Leech and his Downton Abbey costars Rob James-Collier, Lesley Nicol and Laura Carmichael were also asked by Cohen which American star they'd love to have on the show.

"David Hasselhoff," James-Collier quipped, while Carmichael added, "I always say Ryan Gosling."
