Emmy Rossum describes her style as geek chic, but she certainly does scantily-clad and sexy well, too!
The 27-year-old Shameless star poses topless for Esquire's January 2014 issue, showing off some serious underboob and inner-sideboob (or one-sided natural cleavage, if you prefer that terminology).
She also tells the mag things "don't suck" for her right now. "It's amazing how things can be put into perspective for you so easily. Last weekend, I was pulling out of my house, and I saw a body in the road and blood everywhere. This guy had been hit by a car."
"I called 911 and stayed with him," she said. "You see how lucky you are to just be alive. All the Hollywood bulls--t and accolades and money really doesn't matter. It just gives you a slightly nicer house and slightly nicer food and slightly shinier hair."
Rossum's refreshingly down-to-earth attitude might be partially due to the way she was raised. As she tells Company magazine's January 2014 issue, her mom is "very old-fashioned about ethics and drugs and alcohol."
"I would say there was a lot of openness in the house–but no drugs, no alcohol," she says. "To this day, I've never done a hard drug. I've never done cocaine, I've never done heroin, I've never done Ecstasy, which is literally everywhere. It just was never interesting to me."
"The feeling of being out of control or doing anything that could potentially harm me was just not my cup of tea," she explains. "I would literally rather run down the street naked and I've done almost that."
She's a smart lady. Streaking can be fun and safe! But substance abuse? Not so much.
