Zoë Saldana is one of the most sought after actresses in Hollywood, having appeared in blockbusters like Avatar, Star Trek and Pirates of the Caribbean. And yet, the 35-year-old movie star is often mistaken for two equally talented actresses: Kerry Washington and Thandie Newton.

Instead of being offended by the innocuous comparisons, however, Saldana takes them in stride. "I'll be walking down the street and I'll have people go, 'Hey Thandie Newton!'" the Out of the Furnace star said during the Friday, Dec. 6, episode of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. "It's like, 'Oh my god, your show on TV is amazing, Ms. Washington.' It humbles you."

Gotta love a girl who's got her ego in check!

During her chat with Craig Ferguson, Saldana didn't explicitly address her marriage to Marco Perego—but she did mention a brother-in-law while discussing her British food journey. The newlywed spent five months filming in London, during which time she and Perego secretly tied the knot. "I'm fish and chipped out for the next five years," she admitted. "I was on a quest to find the best [restaurant]."

"I'm a foodie and I'm very into food...I've never had french fries with malt vinegar. Those are things that I'm curious to have. My brother-in-law is a Brummie"—a person who hails from Birmingham, England, for those who don't know—"so whenever he makes fish and chips, or steak and chips, he puts malt vinegar in it. That was something that was very different for me."

Sounds like Saldana has a healthy attitude and a healthy appetite!
