Britney Spears has described Britney Jean many times over as her most personal album yet, so we appreciate how personal she's been getting on her press tour!

While filling in for Ryan Seacrest as guest host of radio's American Top 40, airing Saturday and Sunday, the Las Vegas-bound pop star talked all about making her latest LP and answered questions submitted by fans—one of whom wanted Brit's advice on how best to weather a breakup.

"Just get another guy really quick!" she laughed. "I think if you get another boyfriend it's really easy to get over it."

"But for real," Britney quickly added, "I think you need a lot of friends around you and you need to go to the movies and have dinner dates with your girlfriends. Yeah, I think that's important."

Though she wasn't entirely serious about her remedy for getting over a man ASAP, Spears certainly knows what she's talking about, having found love with current beau David Lucado not long after ending her engagement to agent Jason Trawick. And now she seems happy as a clam!

Of course, writing songs about a breakup never seems to hurt in the getting-over-him department, either.

Britney recently somewhat admitted that her new tune "Perfume" is about her ex, and "Alien," also off of Britney Jean, "deals with loneliness and how you can be surrounded at all times by friends, family and adoring fans who you love and still feel alone."

Having just spent her birthday with Lucado and with onstage rehearsals for her two-year Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood kicking off Dec. 10, it sure seems as if Spears has been on the up and up for some time now.

"I just love that he's very passionate and he's funny and he's sexy," Spears gushed to Ellen DeGeneres recently about Lucado. "I don't know...I like him. I just...I love him!"

And with Christmas fast approaching, the 32-year-old mother of two was also asked about the best gift she received when she was a kid.

"I think my best Christmas gift I ever got was when my parents surprised me  with my go-kart inside my playhouse," Britney happily recalled. "I had no idea. I got all my gifts for Christmas and I didn't get the go-kart, so I was a little bummed. So we went inside my playhouse to put all my gifts inside my playhouse and my go-kart was in there. I was so excited. I was ecstatic!"

There's nothing like a little holiday cheer to bring out the gleeful kid in all of us!
