If these Saturday Night Live promos, featuring host Paul Rudd and musical guest One Direction, are any indication of what this week's episode will bring, we are in for a real treat.

The actor and the boy band teased their upcoming appearance on the sketch comedy program in a series of highly entertaining promos. We expected this from the This is 40 star, but the 1D guys, especially Niall Horan, are very amusing.

The quick spots mostly center around the funnyman joking about being a part of 1D, as well becoming so overwhelmed in their presence that he can't stay on his feet.

"Hi I'm Paul Rudd and I'm hosting SNL this week with One Direction," Rudd says in one promo. "You know I bet there's some people out there that probably think I'm in the band."

"Really? Even though you're a lot older than us?" Horan quipped.

"Oh Niall, I love your truth bombs," Rudd retaliated.

Perhaps the highlight of the teasers is when Rudd says he "gets it" about the hottest group around.

"Get what? Harry Styles asks.

"All the screaming," Rudd responds. "Makes sense now. Catch me."

Luckily, Rudd has five dashing gents to come to his aid as he faints.

Rudd and One Direction's stint on SNL airs this Saturday, Dec. 7 at 11:30 p.m. on NBC.
