No disrespect to Macaulay Culkin (#ALLDISRESPECTTOTHEPIGEONLADY), but we prefer The Pet Collective's retelling of Home Alone to the original movie. Mostly because Kevin McCallister is now played by an adorable pug puppy.

And if a pug puppy setting booby traps for teddy bear burglars isn't adorable enough for you, the video also narrated by a small child. So forget Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. Forget Elf. This is the only Christmas movie you need to watch this year.

As you might suspect, the pug, named Jackson Rosa, could not be more over it...

Which just makes it that much cuter.

If you're still jonesing for some other Christmas classics, watch "The Ultimate Christmas Movie Supercut" by Dan Murrell for Screen Junkies. It features various clips from A Christmas Story and Bad Santa, Miracle on 34th Street and Christmas With the Kranks.

Who knew Christmas could be so terrifying?

Answer: We did. Because we've seen Ernest Saves Christmas. No thank you!

We'll stick with the pugs.
