Andy Lyons/Getty Images Tiger Woods has revealed that he's not sure if he'll be accompanying Lindsey Vonn to the Sochi Olympics in February.
Then again, it remains to be seen if the skier will even be there herself.
"I think that's just day to day," the golfer said at a press conference at the Northwestern Mutual Challenge at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif., on Wednesday, Dec. 4. "We just don't know how her leg is going to be. We'll just take it day to day, race to race."
But things are definitely heading in the right direction.
On Tuesday, Dec. 3, the U.S. Ski Team gave Vonn clearance to partake in Wednesday's first official World Cup training session at Lake Louise, Alberta, and on Thursday, Dec. 5, it was reported by NBC Sports that Vonn has been given the go-ahead to ski competitively on Friday.
The downhill skier had suffered a partially torn anterior cruciate ligament in mid-November and pursued "aggressive physical therapy" after sustaining the knee injury.
Vonn said Thursday she is "confident and excited" about Friday's World Cup race.
