Benedict Cumberbatch, you are so suave. Especially when you are reciting risqué and sensual lyrics.

The 37-year-old actor is incredibly versatile, from portraying Julian Assange in the thriller, The Fifth Estate, to morphing into the villain Khan in the summer blockbuster Star Trek Into Darkness. And that's only naming a few performances this year.

Serious and real roles aside, the handsome Brit showed off his tremendous performing chops when he gave a dramatic reading of R. Kelly's "Genius," during Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

The August: Osage County star, clad in a dapper dark suit with a white dress shirt, sits on a stool while staring seductively into the camera. A large poster of the R&B star's Black Panties album cover is on full display behind Cumberbatch. The sultry mood is set, thanks to a single spotlight on the thesp.

"Bodies so freaking soft, I can't wait to turn you on," the Golden Globe nominee utters, with great concentration and keeping a perfect straight face. "You got me like, la, la, la, la, la. Baby, is how you make me feel, baby."

Keep reading, Benedict!

"I can feel your body flowers, while I'm kissing on your thighs," he continues. "You got me, like, la, la, la, la, la."

Wow.

The dramatic conclusion features a close-up shot of Cumberbatch, saying "go to sleep and when we wake me up, I'ma hit that thing again. Promise."

And a wink. Swoon.

Jimmy Kimmel seemed to approve of his guest's performance, quipping "watch your back 2 Chainz, Cumberbatch is in town!"
