The singer told E! News that she's "really kinda nervous about it all coming together as one big piece."
So why is Brit fretting about her highly anticipated residency in Sin City?
"There's so many things going on in the show. We haven't done it with the clothes and we haven't done it with all the water gags and all the quick changes yet," she explained.
And for those die-hard fans who've seen the pop princess in concert before, she told us that her Piece of Me performances are gearing up to be completely one-of-a-kind.
"It's completely different from any show I've ever done," she revealed. "It's definitely the hardest and probably the funnest, too."
The mother of two also explained that even though it took great consideration, signing on the dotted line was something she's always dreamed of.
"It's actually really funny because it's something that I've always wanted to do. It's something that I've always kind of had in the back of my mind that I've always wanted to do but I've never really followed through with it."
Spears added, "I took a grip on it and said this is what I want to do."
She received an over-the-top warm welcome from Planet Hollywood Tuesday night, marking the singer's first appearance at what will be her performance home for the next two years.
Onstage rehearsals at the nightclub-style PH Live Theatre reportedly kick off Dec. 10, with the show's grand premiere slated for Dec. 27. She is currently contracted to do 50 shows apiece in 2014 and 2015.
