Baron Davis has a new play in mind: TV host.

Swinging by Tuesday's episode of Chelsea Lately, the NBA star dished with Chelsea Handler about How I Rock It, the new men's style show he's emceeing for Esquire.

"It's a men's style show," the 34-year-old Davis told the funny lady. "It's like taking trendsetters and people like that and showing them in their daily life. The things that they like to do instead of so much like the clothes that they wear. So it's just like taking it a level deep and like getting inside their personality."

The former New York Knick is no stranger to showbiz, having produced a number of films and documentaries. He's also tried his hand at acting, appearing in the 2012 Adam Sandler comedy That's My Boy as well as filming guest stints on ABC's The Forgotten and TV Land's Hot in Cleveland.

Davis and Handler also joked about a physical therapy session they once shared for torn ACLs—with the basketballer having earned his after injuring his knee on the court.

He seems to have rebounded nicely.

How I Rock It, which is being produced by Ryan Seacrest, airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on Esquire.
