YouTubeZoë Saldana didn't reveal any new information about her secret summer wedding to Marco Perego when she stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, Dec. 3, but she did acknowledge that it happened. Baby steps!
"Congratulations! You got married since the last time I saw you," host Jimmy Kimmel said. (The last time Saldana appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! was May 8, just four days before she was first seen kissing Perego at a Star Trek Into Darkness afterparty in Hollywood.)
"I did," Saldana replied. "And congratulations to you, too. You got married."
"Thank you," Molly McNearney's hubby said. The late-night talk show host then joked, "It's not a competition, though. We don't need to just go around getting married."
After asking Kimmel where he got married—his star-studded wedding took place in Ojai, Calif.,— Saldana was asked the same question. The Guardians of the Galaxy star shrugged and made a funny face before giggling and saying, "I got married in England. I did it in England. Can you top that?"
When Kimmel replied "no," Saldana joked, "So it is a competition!"
Of course, by now the entire world knows that Saldana tied the knot in London in June. News of her surprise nuptials surfaced in September, and the Out of the Furnace actress has remained tight-lipped about her marriage ever since.
Prior to stepping out with the Italian artist in May, Saldana dated Bradley Cooper, her costar in The Words, and was engaged to My Fashion Database co-founder Keith Britton.
