The 17-year-old singing sensation was spotted on the beach on Friday, Nov. 22, in Auckland, New Zealand, where she was snapped all smiles sporting a colorful bikini while splashing around in the cool blue water.
The Pure Heroine beauty, who has recently shot to superstardom thanks to her smash hit "Royals," looked overjoyed as she cooled off in the ocean, flaunting her figure in a light green two piece with purple and blue print, beaming from ear to ear as she enjoyed the sunny weather.
Lorde (real name Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O'Connor) sported a fresh face for her beachy outing and wore her curly brown locks down in her signature unkempt style. She accessorized her swimwear with an old-school tattoo necklace (you remember those, right?!) and kept her look low-key for the fun-filled day.
The singer was joined at the beach by 24-year-old James Lowe, who, as some reports claim, is rumored to be dating the outspoken performer.
The twosome, who have a seven year age difference, were seen looking rather cozy in the water together as Lorde wrapped her arms around the New Zealand-based photographer.
Lorde has also posted a number of pics of the duo on her Instagram account, seemingly hinting that the pair are more than just friends.
She most recently shared a sultry black-and-white shot of the rumored couple, captioning the pic, "james and i, pre music awards, dressed in @zambesisince79."
