This awards season is already looking very promising for Jennifer Lawrence.

The 23-year-old actress, who dominated last year's big awards shows for her work in David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook, has already scored her first big win. J.Law was named Best Supporting Actress for her work in American Hustle (which hits theaters Dec. 20) by the New York Film Critics Circle on Tuesday.

Not only that, the film—which reunited Lawrence with her Silver LInings pals, Bradley Cooper and Russell—snagged the top honor of Best Picture and also got the award for Best Screenplay.

We're sensing a pattern here.

Other big 2013 winners include Cate Blanchett (Best Actress for Blue Jasmine), Robert Redford (Best Actor for All Is Lost), Jared Leto (Best Supporting Actor for Dallas Buyers Club) and Steve McQueen (Best Director for 12 Years a Slave).
