Splash NewsAn autopsy is reportedly set to be performed tomorrow on Paul Walker, just three days after a fatal car crash killed the 40-year-old actor and driver Roger Rodas.
Lt. Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office confirms that the two bodies are both scheduled to undergo autopsies on Tuesday, CNN reports. Corral added that officers investigating the tragic crash are waiting for dental X-rays for each of the men to help in identifying the bodies.
There is a chance the autopsies may not take place tomorrow, however. "I cannot confirm with 100 percent certainty that the examinations will take place tomorrow," the coroner's office tells E! News. "We are working on the identification issues concurrently."
Earlier today, the coroner's office confirmed no autopsies would be performed today. "Both of the autopsies on the victims of that accident are on hold today," they told E! News. "We are probably holding off pending identification confirmation. The bodies have not been identified. The bodies have not yet been examined."
Walker and Rodas' crash happened just after the two men left the Reach Out Worldwide charity event together in Santa Clarita, Calif. Since the actor's sudden and tragic passing, many of Walker's costars and celeb friends have spoken out while mourning the loss of the Fast & Furious actor.
"I'm gonna carry this torch for you brother, with a forced smile on my face," Michelle Rodriguez wrote on Twitter today. "And Im gonna open my heart just cause your telling me to."
Meanwhile, Ludacris shared, "Your humble spirit was felt from the start, wherever you blessed your presence you always left a mark, we were like brothers & our birthdays are only 1 day apart, now You will forever hold a place in all of our hearts @paulwalker legacy will live on forever. R.I.P."
Fast & Furious costars Dwayne Johnson and Jordana Brewster also shared their condolences while Tyrese visited the site of the crash to mourn.
