Here's our first glimpse of Lea Michele's new solo project!

After anxiously waiting to hear what's coming from the Glee star, the 27-year-old actress finally gave fans a little taste of what's in store. Michele tweeted, "So excited for everyone to hear my first single Cannonball, off my debut album LOUDER!" She also included a photo of the cover art for the track, which features a fierce black and white photo of the celeb with tousled hair.

She added, "WRITTEN BY THE AMAZING @sia! #CANNONBALL will be available instantly on Dec 10th with my album preorder!"

The news comes shortly after the star teased some photos from her video shoot for the debut single. "SO EXCITED SHOOTING MY VERY FIRST MUSIC VIDEO TODAY FOR THE FIRST ALBUM SINGLE!," she tweeted, along with a couple of photos of scenes from the set.

Michele dished some details on her upcoming album during an interview with Elle, and revealed that she decided to add a tribute song to her late boyfriend Cory Monteith last minute.

"The album was done, and the label said, 'Do you want to add anything?' I was like, 'I might regret it if I don't,'" she told the mag, and decided to include the track "You're Mine."

"It makes me so happy, this song," Lea said. "It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think if him, I play this."
