Bindi Irwin Dishes on Life at Dad Steve Irwin's Zoo, Being a Typical Teenager—WATCH!

If you ask Bindi Irwin, she feels blessed to continue her late father's legacy but at the same time she's also enjoying life as a relatively typical kid.

In an exclusive interview with E! News, the 15-year-old daughter of Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin talked about her role at the Australia Zoo promoting her dad's conservation message.

"We've shared what our passion is with certain people and hopefully empowered others to want to make a difference on planet earth," Bindi tells E! News. "And so if we're able to talk to people and encourage people to become wildlife warriors, then that's brilliant."

"You've got to think about the difference between normal and common. Because for us, our life is certainly not common," she continued. "We live in the middle of a zoo. We've gotten to travel the world with our family and share our passion and love for wildlife with the world."

But despite achieving fame starring in a host of wildlife-themed TV documentaries in the wake of her father's tragic passing in 2006, Bindi still makes sure to take time out to do the typical stuff teens her age do as well as act the big sis to younger brother, Robert.

"For me and for my little brother Robert, we're just kids. We're living our life, following our dreams and passions and goals," she said, though quick to note her childhood has been different than most.

"I have a great life not just in the zoo but outside of the zoo as well. So just yesterday actually, we went to our conservation property with a friend of mine and we went hiking for the day. And I think that's nice is that I'm able to go to the movies with friends or go hiking at a conservation property or go surfing."

All in all, Irwin says she's having fun—"just like every other teenager."
