From that flawless figure to the famous beauty mark that helped set her apart from countless models, little has changed about Cindy Crawford's amazing physical appearance since her ‘90s heyday.

And the 47-year-old proves just that in the upcoming issue of Marie Claire Mexico, where she took on the role of the country's iconic screen legend, María Félix, for a John Russo-lensed shoot.

Looking just as tough as one of Félix's characters, Crawford commands the cover by staring straight into the camera, with cigar in hand and an I-dare-you-to-mess-with-me look that's only slightly softened by a sultry cat eye.

To channel Félix's signature style, the glossy's team made sure the shoot was "all about the jewelry," covering the supermodel in a bounty of bangles, cascading drop earrings and luxe necklaces both on the cover and within the pages of the magazine.

For her part, Crawfored told the Marie Claire team she has always been intrigued by the actress as a "passionate and strong woman." And given the badass babe vibe Crawford gives off in the spread, we have to say she pretty much nailed it when it came to portraying Félix's fab fierceness.

But behind-the-scenes, the team was more impressed with what they referred to as Crawford's "down-to-earth" nature and her utter "professionalism."

"Cindy is iconic," photographer Russo raved. "She is the quintessential supermodel. Always professional and gracious, she enters the room as if it was her first shoot. She takes on whatever persona the shoot calls for. I love working with her."

And we're loving the fruits of their collaboration!
