Kanye West has a fan in Brenda Lee.

Lee is the former teen singer from the 1950s and '60s behind "Uh-huh, Honey," the infectious spoken word lyric from Lee's 1960 hit "Sweet Nothin's" that West samples 11 times in his song, "Bound 2."

"My first thought was how in the world does he know Brenda Lee?" Lee told me today from her home in Nashville. "But I understand that he's quite a smart guy and knows his stuff so I'm honored that he knew the song."

Lee hasn't seen the much talked-about video for "Bound 2," but she lets out a big laugh when she hears it features Kim Kardashian naked and straddling her fiance on a motorcycle.

"I'm speechless," Lee said. "I never thought a Brenda Lee song would be used with somebody naked on a motorcycle! But you know that's what's so fascinating about this business—you never know what's coming around the next corner...I'm proud that [West] knows that people that came before him."

Just yesterday, Seth Rogen and James Franco released a parody of the video. Calling their version "Bound 3," Rogen and Franco presented a shot-by-shot remake of the video with themselves in the roles of Kim and Kanye. Yup, Rogen isn't only shirtless, but he and Franco also makeout in the vid.

Kardashian tweeted her approval yesterday.

"Nailed it! Sooo funny!" the E! reality star posted on her Twitter feed.

"Thanks!" Rogen wrote back to Kim. "Some of those positions were really uncomfortable. That s--t is harder than it looks."

West's "Bound 2" video has been viewed close to 8.3 million times on YouTube since its release seven days ago.

Kardashian tweeted today that West approves, too. "Kanye says what's up!," Kim tweeted Rogen. "He loves u guys! He laughed so hard at this."
