Lorde has publicly criticized Selena Gomez, but now she's got a few choice words about Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lana Del Rey.

The 17-year-old said during a recent sit down with Interview magazine that she simply doesn't connect with their music.

"Around the middle of last year I started listening to a lot of rap, like Nicki Minaj and Drake, as well as pop singers like Lana Del Rey. They all sing about such opulence, stuff that just didn't relate to me—or anyone that I knew," she said.

"I began thinking, 'How are we listening to this? It's completely irrelevant.'"

She recently slammed Gomez for the lyrical content in her popular track, "Come & Get It."

"I'm a feminist and the theme of her song is, ‘'When you're ready come and get it from me,'" Lorde explained. "I'm sick of women being portrayed this way."

Gomez fired back during a stop at Boston's AMP radio program The TJ Show, saying, "I appreciate everybody's opinion…but I think at the same time that feminism and that specific thing is very sensitive, because in my opinion it's not feminism if you're tearing down another artist. So that's the only thing that I feel, but you know, she's young, she's got so much talent, she's gonna take over, she gets it, so I don't take it to heart."

The "Royals" singer also explained that she tries to create music that will not only resonate with fans, but be easily accessible.

"I wanted to put the EP up for free because being a teenager, and not having a credit card—I mean, who has a credit card at 16?! I just thought people my age would appreciate it."
