Lamar Odom is, once again, proving to be the big man on campus.

While the 34-year-old athlete continues to train for his NBA comeback at his alma mater, the University of Rhode Island, he's also been graciously taking time out to hang with fans, students and fellow alumni.

On Friday, Nov. 22, for instance, Khloé Kardashian Odom's husband was on hand to watch URI's basketball team defeat UMass Lowell 79-68, much to the delight of those in attendance, as seen and heard in a Vine video that was posted the next day and captioned, "Welcome back Lamar!"

And just a couple of days before that, he paused in the gym to graciously pose for pics with other former students.

"Check out the coaching staff in the weight room with Lamar Odom! Four great Rhody alumni right there!" read a tweet on the Rhody Men's Soccer Twitter page.

Aside from being his old stomping grounds, a source told E! News exclusively on Nov. 20 that Odom chose to return to the school to get back into shape because "Rhode Island is a small, relaxing place for him...It is the perfect place for him to get himself together."

The insider added, "He has been working with the players and assistant coaches. The plan is to get back and sign up with the [Los Angeles] Clippers. He is working and training and he is looking good."

As for Odom's mood, he is in "good spirits, laughing, joking around and enjoying himself," the source revealed.

Well, it shows!

As for Khloé, she was spotted attending the Drake concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday, Nov. 25, with mom Kris Jenner and sisters Kendall and Kylie. Oh, and hanging out with Nicki Minaj.
