Malin Akerman Reportedly Splits With Drummer Husband Roberto Zincone

Blond beauty and her hubby are going their separate ways

Malin Akerman and Roberto Zincone are calling it quits.

The Trophy Wife actress and her rocker-husband have separated after six years of marriage.

The news, which was first reported in the Dec. 9 issue of Us Weekly (via the Daily Mail), comes just seven months after the couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Sebastian.

No reason was given for the split but a source close to the 35-year-old Akerman told the magazine it was "amicable" and the two are now concentrating on doing "what's best for their son."

The Rock of Ages star met Zincone when they played together in the alt-rock band The Petalstones for which Akerman was the singer and Roberto was the drummer. But after releasing their debut album, Stung, in 2005, the Swedish Canadian model eventually left when her acting career heated up.

According to the insider, despite calling it quits, the pair haven't decided on whether to file for divorce yet. 

"Honestly, Malin is not even ready to discuss it. It's a very sad time for her," said the source.

A rep for Akerman could not be reached for comment.
