Another day, another Twitter war for LeAnn Rimes—only this time she's upset her ex, Dean Sheremet

On Saturday, she used replied to a Netizen who slammed her erstwhile marriage to the chef and TV presenter. In doing so, the 31-year-old country star inadvertently ticked off nemesis Brandi Glanville her former husband.

Rimes' latest Twitter row got started when a scribe going by the handle of Da Giggle Factory tweeted, "Remember the good old days when @leannrimes was just a chubby country bumpkin married to a gay dude?"

The mean-spirited post included a not so flattering twitpic of LeAnn when she was younger and had a fuller figure than she does now.

Instead of getting into it however, Rimes laughed off the insult.

"@DaGiggleFactory hahahaha I'm gonna choose to laugh at this," the Grammy winner replied.

His ex-wife's lack of indignation at the remark aimed at Sheremet however prompted him to issue this angry retort: "Laugh away-Who's the bully now?"

"I don't do twitter wars, but I do hate ignorance. Being gay isn't offensive, not standing up for the truth is. @NOH*Campaign @Leannrimes," he wrote her back on Sunday.

A Twitter follower named Michelle subsequently defended the crooner who's now married to actor Eddie Cibrian.

"@Deansheremet @NOH8Campaign @leannrimes who said it was offensive? Did you see the pic attached to the tweet? Nothing to do w dean," she replied to Sheremet.

At which point, Rimes took the opportunity to clarify what she intended by her comment.

"Exactly dear lord. I was laughing at myself," the singer-actress said.

When the fan wondered why Dean even lashed out, noting that he's not gay and "it's not offensive to say he is," Rimes reiterated her strong backing for the LGBT community.

Explained Rimes: "@shellipep @Deansheremet @NOH8Campaign no he's not gay and there's nothing wrong it. I have always & will always support the community."

Glad she cleared that up.
